I have been gone for way too long..lol. I am still here...Well the Bears had a great season..it was great to watch them all year long for sure. Just fell a little short at the end, but all in all a great season.
Work has been up and down. Sometimes busy and sometimes just dead, the busy times are best, they make the day go by much faster.
Family is doing well, the new baby is growing like a weed for sure. 7 1/2 months old and already 22 lbs. He is going to be a giant..lol. Jenn went and bought some new clothes yesterday and he is already in 18months clothes...woohoo..what a wonderful little boy he is...such a happy smiling little man.
Well that is about all...to all my LJ friends I will do a much better job posting in the future for sure:-).

Well the Bears pulled out a miracle last night. Jenn and I had to attend a cub scout function so we missed most of the first half..I thought to myself, "It is only Arizona", I would not be missing very much...we got back home in time to see Neil Rackers kick a field goal to to go ahead 20 to 0. I was in shock. Rex Grossman came back down to earth and played horribly. The announcers kept saying the Cardinals could not close out games, and were saying how horrible it would be if the Bears came back to win. Well the stifling Bears defense did just that...they forced two fumbles and recovered those for two touchdowns and then Devon Hester returned a punt for the go ahead score. It was late but I was screaming and jumping up and down during the run back...Jenn had to make me hush as to not to wake the boys..lol. We held on...The offense was horrible but the defense came through. We did not deserve to win...but a win is a win.

The Bears remaining schedule is looking great. The combined records of the teams they are facing are 20-33. The Bears could quite possibly be 8-0 heading into week 10 against the Giants who have not looked like world beaters but are a very good team. Week 12 at New England will be a huge roadblock on the road. But I can easily see a 14-2 or 13-3 record this year as long as we stay healthy.

DA BEARS!!!!

Well just wanted to update on the goings on of my life...lol...that just sounds so important.

Jenn has had three bad test and now she is going in today for another procedure a colposcopy (sp?)...I am nervous and hoping for the very best...she is my world and I hate to see her have anything wrong with her.

Blake is doing fine...sleeping better through the night...he sleep from around 9 to 11 pm to 4 to 5 in the morning...he is trying to let mom and dad get some rest. It is so awesome...he has started smiling alot...everyday when I get home I sit him in my lap and we just talk and smile...he is so very glad to see his dad...it is awesome!!!

We have started soccer season...games on Saturday...4 in the morning and 9( he just had his birthday last Friday, we gave him a bowling party for him and his friends...we all had a blast) is usually in the afternoon. Practices have been on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Jenn and I have volunteered to be den leaders for 9's cub scout troop. This is his first year in scouts. We have an all day class this Saturday and we should start our weekly meetings next week. Being from a small town I did not have the chance to be in scouts growing up so this will be new to me but I am very much looking forward to it...should be fun.

The Chicago Bears are 3 - 0!!!! We squeaked out a hard fought win against the Vikings last Sunday but a win is a win. We have a huge match up this Sunday Night against the Seahawks...but to our favor Shaun Alexander is out...this should help our defense but I am still nervous about our overall speed in the secondary...but the year looks bright!!

I have been sending some resumes out for the last couple of weeks...so far I have had amazing response...several calls and have been on three interviews..I had one last night that I am very excited about...just trying to see what is out there for the best of the family. I have had promises made to me my my present employer that have just not come to fruition...time to do better.

This year we switched from cable to diretv and it has been awesome. We have four rooms covered and in our frontroom we have the box that has dvr...it is awesome! We purchased the NFL sunday ticket so that I can watch the bears play every weekend(my wife is so awesome!) Needless to say I am very happy. It is so much better not being stuck with watching the Titans!! We are just south of Memphis so our region broadcasts all of the Titans games. Just having a choice is great. The only problem has been me switching back and forth between so many games...nice problem to have. I would highly recommend direct tv and also the NFL Sunday Ticket...very well worth the money.

Hi everyone...just wanted to try and catch up after not posting for so very long. Everything is going well. The new baby is doing fine..he is actually growing like a weed..already gained almost 5 lbs in 7 weeks. He is sleeping somewhat through the night..9 pm to 4 am usually. So we are grateful. We bought a new van..had too with all the in our family. We were going to get a Mini-van but decided on a full size and gratefully it was definitely the best decision. Work is ok but I am sending resume's out. Have had numerous calls and hopefully can find an upgrade. I am happy here but just wanting to find something better for the family. A BLONDE IN ECONOMY CLASS GETS UP AND MOVES TO THE FIRST CLASS SECTION AND SITS DOWN. THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT WATCHES HER DO THIS AND ASKS TO SEE HER TICKET. SHE THEN TELLS THE BLONDE THAT SHE PAID FOR ECONOMY CLASS AND THAT SHE WILL HAVE TO SIT IN THE BACK.

THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT GOES INTO THE COCKPIT AND TELLS THE PILOT AND THE CO-PILOT THAT THERE IS A BLONDE BIMBO SITTING IN FIRST CLASS WHO BELONGS IN ECONOMY AND WON'T MOVE BACK TO HER SEAT.



THE CO-PILOT GOES BACK TO THE BLONDE AND TRIES TO EXPLAIN THAT BECAUSE SHE ONLY PAID FOR ECONOMY, SHE WILL HAVE TO LEAVE AND RETURN TO HER SEAT. THE BLONDE REPLIES, "I'M BLONDE, I'M BEAUTIFUL, I'M GOING TO HOUSTON AND I'M STAYING RIGHT HERE."



THE CO-PILOT TELLS THE PILOT THAT HE PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE THE POLICE WAITING WHEN THEY LAND TO ARREST THIS BLONDE WOMAN WHO WON'T LISTEN TO REASON.



THE PILOT SAYS, "YOU SAY SHE IS A BLONDE? I'LL HANDLE THIS. I'M MARRIED TO A BLONDE. I SPEAK BLONDE."



HE GOES BACK TO THE BLONDE AND WHISPERS IN HER EAR, AND SHE SAYS, "OH, I'M SORRY," AND SHE GETS UP AND GOES BACK TO HER SEAT IN ECONOMY.



THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT AND CO-PILOT ARE AMAZED AND ASKED HIM WHAT HE SAID TO MAKE HER MOVE WITHOUT ANY FUSS.



I TOLD HER, "FIRST CLASS ISN'T GOING TO HOUSTON."

We get a call at 3:45 am yesterday and are told that the hospital is full and that they will call us later. We call again at 8 and still no room...so we have to reschedule the delivery until next Tuesday....this sucks. I was very ready to meet my son. But what can you do...hopefully Blake will decide to go ahead and come out so that they have to take us....will update more later...
